We had a snow day on Monday...delayed opening on Tuesday...and now another snow day today...which means I am busy working on plans and materials for the classroom! I just made an Olympic Opinion Writing packet (including rough draft and final draft papers and clip art images) to use for my February bulletin board. We are going to read G is for Gold Medal: An Olympics Alphabet by Brad Herzog.
Then the students will pick a sport that they would want to play in if they were in the Olympics and tell why they like that sport the best and why they would be good at it.
